How it works
Say it, post it, see who relates.
Inside Smiths is a lightweight community for informal stories at work. It isn't an HR channel, a complaints form or an intranet.
1. Write a confession or open a discussion
Choose Share something. Post a confession to get something off your chest, or open a discussion to ask a question or start a topic. Pick a category, write it, and preview how it will look.
2. Post anonymously — nothing is traceable
Nothing is traceable and everything is anonymous. There's no account to create, and we never ask for your name or email. Everyone sees a random pseudonym and an abstract avatar, generated separately for each post.
3. Like, react, vote and comment
Tap the heart to like a post, or hold it to pick Love, Funny, Interesting, Relatable or Too real. You get one reaction per post and can change it at any time. Like comments, and comment or reply two levels deep, under a pseudonym that stays the same within that thread.
Any post can carry a poll with up to six options. You get one vote, it's final, and you see the results after you vote. In the Polls room, everyone also gets one comment per poll.
Save posts to read later, or copy a link to share. There are no private messages.
4. Show up for today
Each morning brings a thought in Kannada and English, a question everyone answers in one shared thread, and an anonymous vibe check. Pulse shows how the whole community is doing, in totals only.
The categories
- Crushes & Confessions. Personal, light-hearted confessions that don't identify or target anyone.
- Food & Cafeteria. Recommendations, reviews and cravings.
- Office Chaos. Funny workplace moments that don't identify anyone.
- Work Stories. General work experiences, with nothing confidential.
- Appreciation. Thank people and celebrate small kindnesses, without exposing anything private.
- Random Thoughts. General thoughts and open discussion.
- Anonymous Questions. Ask the community the things you'd rather not ask out loud.
- Polls. Ask everyone a question with options. One vote, one comment and one reaction per person.
- Feedback. Constructive ideas for the workplace or for this community. Specific, kind and useful.
Where to go for serious issues
This isn't the place for formal complaints, safety concerns or anything that needs a response. Use your usual company channels for those. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
